Exposition – Matérialistes à la Galerie Gallifet

L’exposition Matérialistes, présentée au Centre d’art Gallifet à Aix-en-Provence du 15 novembre 2024 au 1er février 2025, explore la matérialité en liant l’homme à son environnement, poursuivant une série dédiée aux artistes-artisans contemporains. Les œuvres, telles que des sculptures, teintures et mobiliers, effacent les frontières entre corps et paysages, invitant à de nouveaux imaginaires où la matière devient source d’inspiration.

Le salon Artisans d’Excellence, qui se tiendra au cœur de Paris à l’Hôtel des Italiens du 7 au 9 novembre, met en lumière le savoir-faire exceptionnel des métiers des arts décoratifs pour les professionnels de l’architecture, de l’hôtellerie et de la Haute Décoration. Ferronniers d’art, ébénistes, céramistes et autres maîtres artisans exposeront leurs créations dans une scénographie soignée, partageant leur passion et leur maîtrise de la matière. Ce rendez-vous célèbre l’art de transformer les matériaux en véritables œuvres d’exception.

The Artisans d’Excellence fair, held in the heart of Paris at the Hôtel des Italiens from November 7 to 9, highlights the exceptional craftsmanship of the decorative arts for professionals in architecture, hospitality, and high-end design. Master artisans, including metalworkers, cabinetmakers, ceramicists, and others, will exhibit their creations in a refined scenography, sharing their passion and mastery of materials. This event celebrates the art of transforming raw materials into true works of excellence.

2023 FONDATION HERMÈS, ACADÉMIE DES SAVOIR-FAIRE, LA PIERRE

En 2023, la sixième Académie des savoir-faire mis en place par la Fondation Hermès est consacrée à la pierre. Dans ce cadre, Hervé Obligi fait parti de l’un des 20 académiciens de cette année. Pendant près de 11 mois cette nouvelle promotion sera invité à aborder les grands Fondamentaux des arts du bâti. Il s’agira d’approfondir les dimensions historiques, symbolique, esthétique, physique mais aussi économique et social de la pierre, dans l’architecture comme dans les aménagements urbains, sans oublier sa présence dans nos intérieur. Cette académie sera placée sous la direction pédagogique de l’architecte franco-libanaise @linaghotmeh_archtecture, reconnu sur la scène internationale et engagé dans une approche écologique de sa pratique.

« In 2023, the sixth Craftsmanship Academy organized by the Hermès Foundation is dedicated to stone. Within this framework, Hervé Obligi is one of the 20 academics for this year. Over nearly 11 months, this new cohort will be invited to explore the fundamental aspects of the building arts. The focus will be on delving into the historical, symbolic, aesthetic, physical, as well as economic and social dimensions of stone, both in architecture and urban planning, not forgetting its presence in our interiors. This academy will be under the pedagogical direction of the Franco-Lebanese architect @linaghotmeh_archtecture, recognized internationally and committed to an ecological approach in her practice. »
